FEB & MAR | TUESDAYS & FRIDAYS | AUSTRALIAN ACADEMY OF DANCE
Scimm. Dance is opening a select number of professional training classes to the wider dance community this February and March.
These open classes are designed for intermediate to advanced dancers who want to train in a focused, professional environment while still feeling welcomed, supported, and encouraged. Classes run alongside Scimm. Dance Pre-Professional and Scimm. Dance Company, offering a genuine insight into how we train week to week.
Expect strong dancing, clear direction, and a positive studio culture where dancers work hard and support each other.
Classes are open to intermediate to advanced dancers. $25 per class.
A standard refund policy applies, with refunds considered only in cases of illness or emergency.

This class focuses on contemporary technique, musicality, athleticism, and clarity of movement. Dancers train alongside Scimm. Dance Pre-Professional artists in a fast-paced but supportive setting.
Tuesday Morning - Company Class
10:00am – 11:30am
Starting Tuesday 17 February
This class is run in a professional company training format alongside Scimm. Dance Company dancers. It is physically demanding, focused, and artistically driven.
OPEN CLASS WITH BAILEY GLEN

Join Bailey Glen for a focused 90-minute contemporary class designed for committed intermediate to advanced dancers ready to be challenged. This is a training environment built to push your strength, musicality and performance quality.
Expect dynamic contemporary movement, grounded technique and detailed choreography that demands clarity, control and intention.
Curated under the direction of Scimm. Dance and connected to the Platforms Youth Company pathway, this class offers dancers the opportunity to train at a higher level and experience the calibre expected within our programs.

Scimm. Dance Pre-Professional is a comprehensive full-time training course tailored to an elite pre-professional level in contemporary dance.
THE EXPERIENCE
A transformative six-week performance-based program that offers aspiring young dancers an extraordinary opportunity to work closely with Scimm. Dance Artistic Directors, Scott Pokorny and Tim Barnes.
ASCENSION TRAINING PROGRAM
Our Ascension training offers weekly extension programs for committed young dancers aged 8 to 19 years who want to build their technique, creativity and knowledge of contemporary dance.
