Scimm. Dance Company is Melbourne’s next-generation contemporary dance company. Our dancers are young professionals creating bold, sculptural work that blends refined classical technique with raw commercial energy.

Established in 2018, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our professional dancers by providing access to professional training, choreographic development and weekly classes alongside paid performance opportunities.

In addition to producing an annual major performance season, we provide additional smaller performance opportunities for our dancers throughout the year. The company has previously presented several successful inaugural performance seasons such as Senseless State (2018), Aetherium (2019), Paracosm (2022, 2024), 10 Years: An Anniversary Event (2023) Mechorstra (Winner of the 2023 Melbourne Fringe Peoples Choice Award) (2023, 2024) and Pink (Presented as part of Midsumma Festival, 2024).
