A week to create something special.
The Experience brings dancers together for an intensive week of training, creativity and performance. Work alongside Scimm. Dance Artistic Directors Scott Pokorny and Tim Barnes, together with an exciting lineup of guest choreographers. Explore contemporary, lyrical, commercial and jazz, learn new choreography and bring it all together for a live Showcase. It's a chance to push yourself, meet dancers from other studios and experience what it's like to create and perform with Scimm.
More than just a workshop.
Train with inspiring artists.
Learn directly from experienced choreographers and industry professionals who bring different styles, perspectives and creative approaches into the studio.
Create and perform.
Go beyond learning combinations. Work towards a shared performance and experience the buzz of bringing choreography to life onstage.
Find your people.
Meet dancers who share your passion, make new connections and become part of the Scimm. community.
Experience Scimm. without the long-term commitment.
For dancers who want more than a one-day workshop but can't commit to a full performance season, The Experience offers a different way in.
Could The Experience be for you?
If you're looking to challenge yourself, learn from new choreographers, perform and meet dancers beyond your regular studio, we'd love to have you involved. The Experience is designed for passionate dancers aged 9+ who are keen to try something new, grow their confidence and be part of a creative team. You don't need to be a current Scimm. dancer to get involved.
