Carla started dancing from the age of 3, and trained as a competitive dancer for almost 10 years competing in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, open, hip-hop, commercial and theatre jazz categories. From 2021, Carla began expanding her dance training by joining several youth companies including Scimm. Platforms Youth Company, Transit Dance Origins and more.

In 2024, Carla joined the Scimm. Dance Pre-Professional Full Time Course, working with Scott and Tim on her contemporary technique and artistry, as well as attaining her Certificate IV in Dance. During this time, Carla has also made dance appearances in the 2024 AFL Grand Final Pre-show entertainment for Katy Perry, 2025 Australian Open ‘Kids Tennis Day’ performance, and choreographed for Grounded: Battle of the Arts Next Generation Division 2024 and VDF's Ignite Show 2025.

Upon graduating from full time, Carla joined Scimm Dance. Company as a Junior Artist, performing in their upcoming work Reflector.
